Collection & Use of Your Personal Information

We are the sole owners of any information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email, website form, or visit to our provisioning center. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

Information we may collect includes:

  • Your gender
  • Your address(es)
  • Your medical marijuana identification card information
  • Your state-issued identification information
  • Your email
  • Your phone number

Your phone number is used only to provide updates on your online orders unless you opt-in to the Green Tree Relief Bud Club. If you opt-in, then we may text you information pertaining to new products, promotional information, and exclusive deals.

We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy. Any emails that aren't directly related to orders placed on this site will include an option to opt-out of future communication.

Your Information and the State of Michigan

We will not allow anyone in our store that cannot furnish government identification proving they are 21 or older or a valid medical marijuana patient. Your name and date of birth are retained to hold if the state requires it. The following information is shared with the state via the statewide tracking system Metrc:

  • Location of sale
  • Time of sale
  • Quantity sold
  • Price
  • Product type

For adult-use (recreational) customers, no personally identifiable information is shared with the state. For medical marijuana patients, medical sales are tracked and linked to your state-issued medical marijuana registration card.

Orders

We request information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number and expiration date). This information will be used for billing purposes and to fulfill your orders. If we are having trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.

We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes beyond filling your order.

Cookies

We use "cookies" on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. We use cookies to enhance the eCommerce experience. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.

Green Tree Relief Bud Club

The Bud Club program is a voluntary rewards program and you may choose whether or not to participate and thereby disclose information (e.g. your phone number or your email). Upon initial registration, you will be enrolled in our texting program. This program will notify individuals of new products and offers as well as discounts and deals. You can opt-out of this anytime by responding with STOP. You can always opt back in at a later date by responding to the message with START. Please note that even if you opt-out from our text messaging list, rewards redemption is still handled via text. You will receive one text message per reward redemption. The purpose of this text message is to notify our budtenders that you have redeemed a reward.

Green Tree Relief secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We use the following methods for this purpose:
